Dagger Submission Guidelines

40K-80K Urban Fantasy

Dagger is our Urban Fantasy imprint with main characters who are diverse and inclusive. We are looking for strong world-building, developed plot, and dynamic characters.

• Novels and novellas should be stand alones. Case by case consideration is given to submission of an entire series.
• Agented and unagented submissions are accepted.
• Romantic elements are welcome but the focus should be on the world-building rather than the romance. 80/20.
• Series/books we love: Patricia Briggs’ Mercy Thompson Series, Jeaniene Frost’s Night Huntress series, Darynda Jones’ Charley Davidson Series, Jaymin Eve’s Supernatural Prison Series
