Lore Submission Guidelines

35K-70K Paranormal Romance

Lore is a Paranormal Romance imprint of Lore Lush Publishing (LLP). LLP is looking for main characters who are diverse and inclusive of heroines and heroes of the multitude cultures, races, religions, preferences, and body types which reflect the world around us. Bring on the Asian Alpha heroes, Interracial romances (in more than supernatural race), and full-figured heroines, we want to see it all.

We are looking for strong world-building, a developed plot and dynamic characters. The characters should be able to drive the book but the plot/world-building needs to hook the reader into wanting more.

Heroines should be strong, intelligent, and be able to handle business. Heroes should be sexy, fierce, and willing to do everything to protect and take care of the heroine –  even though she doesn’t need it.

Don’t be afraid to break the rules of the paranormal. Soul eating angel? Vegan werewolf? Geeky-dragon shifter-alpha who is terrified of heights? Yes, please!

• Novels and novellas should be stand alone. Case by case consideration is given to series submissions.
• Agented and unagented submissions are accepted.
• Romance comes first and should have an HEA.
• Third-person POV is preferred.
• Series/books we love: Lara Adrian’s Midnight Breed Series, Thea Harrison’s Elder Races Series, Kresley Cole’s Immortals After Dark Series.
